Installation Feature: Healthcare Administrative Offices

Check out our latest installation for a healthcare administrative office. These colorful prints lend a lively, energetic atmosphere to the space.

Event: Tour of the Minneapolis Convention Center Art Program 4/28

Join us for a walking tour of our latest rotation of art at the Minneapolis Convention Center! Our rotation features fantastic work by artists living and working in Minneapolis. The tour will be lead by Art Force's Leslie Palmer-Ross, and several artists with pieces in this collection will be available to speak about their work.

Meet us at Visitor Information Center in the Main Lobby, our tour will be from 4– 5:00PM on April 28th. Please RSVP by emailing ngranquist@artforce.org. We hope to see you there!

Event: NordHaus Tiny Gallery Event 4/22

NordHaus Apartments and Art Force will be hosting an event open for visitors Friday April 22 from 6-8 PM. The event will be held at NordHaus, located at 315 1st Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413.

Pieces for this installation are submitted by local artists and respond to the theme “Reflections.” All artwork will be available for purchase, and a food truck will be onsite for visitors!

The Catherine G Murphy Gallery at St Kates
Reverberating Bodies, Reception 3/19, 5:30 - 7:00PM

This exhibition brings together the work of multimedia artists Christine Nguyen and Dao Strom. Inspired by the interconnectedness of nature and the cosmos, Christine Nguyen’s lyrical, luminous and large-scale paintings are paired with a suspended mobile of hand-built ceramic forms that reference diatoms and atoms. Be sure to RSVP by following the instructions included in the link above. The work will be on display through 3/20.

Minneapolis College of Art and Design

Soft Power: Regional Faculty Exploring Fiber Arts, 3/25, 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Presented in conjunction with the MCAD MFA Program, this exhibition spotlights fifteen faculty members from colleges and universities across Minnesota and adjacent states who work primarily with fibers or textiles. With an emphasis on experimentation with wide-ranging materials and forms, the artworks selected for the exhibition highlight the complex relationship between objects, space, and human perception.
